How to register as a sole proprietor (FOP)?

Why a sole proprietorship

• You receive payouts as a business and pay your own taxes under the simplified system.
• Tutors in Ukraine need a FOP to withdraw money from Repik. You can teach before opening it — your earnings stay on your balance.
• It also helps if you work with other platforms, schools or students directly.

How to open a FOP in Diia (Ukraine)

1. 1Open the Diia app or diia.gov.ua → Services → «Відкриття ФОП».
2. 2Enter your address and contacts. Activity code (KVED) for tutoring: 85.59 «Other education».
3. 3In the same application choose the simplified tax system (single tax) and a group.
4. 4Sign with Diia.Signature. Registration usually takes one working day.
5. 5Open a FOP bank account (e.g. monobank or PrivatBank — online).
6. 6On Repik, in «Payouts», add the FOP account IBAN and choose the tax status «sole proprietor».
